We believe offering the 2x strength will benefit our customers while achieving the low reflectance they have come to expect with our coating but using less paint. Cromer Black Coating![]() NanoLab formulates and applies this silicate-bound, carbon nanotube-based absorber in house to customer parts, using the same CNT used in our other paints and coatings. It is not available for individual sale. Parts suitable for this coating include metals that can withstand a 140C baking temperature, which is used to cure the coating. Coating thickness is typically ~10 micron, and has demonstrated good adhesion to copper, aluminum, glass, and stainless steel.
